We are happy that you will be a part of the SMS community and encourage you to become involved. The SMS PTO put together a checklist to make your transition to Kindergarten easy as can be!!!

 

 

 

Get the details for everything you need so you can check everything off your list:

 

 

❏  Review our New Family Welcome Packet. Learn about what the South Mountain School PTO does and get introduced to all the programs and gifts the SMS PTO provides to your child’s school.

 

 

❏  Please take a few minutes to set up an account in Membership Toolkit so you can sign-up to receive important communication, be a part of our family directory (by completing the Family Information form), and purchase your SMS PTO membership.

 

 

❏ Join the SMS PTO! You can become part of our PTO through our website via Membership Toolkit. You will have access to register for our fabulous school-wide offerings such as lunch, after school enrichments, and SMS Spirit Wear.

 

 

❏  Review our “Volunteer Interest” form and volunteer for our PTO! We need​ your help to keep our amazing programs successful! Please read through and submit your “Volunteer Interest” form using Membership Toolkit. We have something for everyone...there are a plethora of volunteer options. We welcome your active involvement and our VP of Programming, Gyan Mishra is happy to answer any questions you have.

 

 

❏  Order your school supplies! The South Mountain PTO has taken care of everything for you. All you need to do is order your supply kit and it will be delivered right to school.

All orders must be submitted by ​July 1st.

 

 

 

 

All South Mountain School families are invited to join the South Mountain School PTO.  Our mission is to provide opportunities to students to learn and grow while creating a sense of belonging and community.   SMS PTO Members have access to the entire SMS PTO website including the calendar, directory and registration to all SMS PTO programs including SMS PTO sponsored lunch, After School Enrichment activities, and other fun events throughout the year.

 

The SMS PTO uses Membership Toolkit to make it easy for parents to have one place to go for all things PTO! 

 

Your Membership Toolkit Account allows you to:

  • Sign-up to receive important communications
  • Enter your directory information by completing the Family Information form.
  • Purchase your PTO membership

 

Once you purchase a SMS PTO Membership, you will be able to:

  • Access the online directory
  • Access website pages just for our families and members
  • Register your children for SMS PTO Programs (lunch, after school programs, school sales and more!)
  • Sign-up to volunteer

The SMS PTO has an amazing way to save you time and money! Orders for school supply kits for the 2022-2023 school year have closed. 1st Day School Supplies kits are the exact school supplies that our teachers have requested and approved. Kits will be delivered straight to your child's classroom so they'll have everything they need for the first day of school!
 
Not only does ordering a kit save you the time and hassle of going out to get all the supplies yourself, but it also acts as a fundraiser for our school. Please remember to order for the grade that your child will be entering in the fall. Last day to place your order was July 1st! 
 
 
 
 
For parents choosing to use the Car Line for drop-off and pick-up, please familiarize yourself with the Car Line map and important safety rules. Please be sure to share this important information with any family or caregivers who will be getting your child to or from school.
