Membership Toolkit is the SMS PTO headquarters where you'll find Program Signups, School Directory, Calendars and more!

All parents are encouraged to become members of the SMS PTO. Membership is $30 per year per household. Membership allows your family to:

• Receive emails and reminders about school events and activities
• Access all information on the SMS PTO website
• Access the online school directory
• Register for SMS PTO-run programs
• Access the Directory & Calendar information from your mobile devices using the Membership Toolkit App**

LET'S GET STARTED!

Step 1: Create Account 

    Follow these steps to create a Membership Toolkit account:

1. Click the Create Account button above!
2. If you already have a Membership Toolkit account for a different organization, enter your email address and password on the Sign in page and click Login. Proceed to Step 2.
3. If you do not have a Membership Toolkit account, click Create Account.
4. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password, Retype Password and click verify my email.
5. Wait to receive an email and click the Verify My Email link within the body of the email.
6. The Account Creation page is displayed. Enter your password and click Create Account.

Step 2: Enter Family Contacts 

    Now that you have a Membership Toolkit account, provide your Family Information:

1. The Online Sign-Ups and Registrations page is displayed. Click Family Contact Information (Start here!) link under Adult and Student Information.
2. On the Adult Information page, enter your contact details for both parents/guardians and click Next Step.
3. On the Student Information page, click Add Student.
4. Enter your child's information. Please note that you must select your child's current grade and teacher. For incoming Kindergarten families - please choose Incoming K for Grade 2020-2021 and choose Unknown for Class.
5. For each additional child that you have at the South Mountain School or coming to the SMS next year, click I have another student and enter the child's information.
6. Click Save.
7. The Directory & Publish Preferences page is displayed.
8. Select what information you want to be made available to other SMS PTO members in the online directory. Only verified SMS families with paid SMS PTO membership have access to the online directory.
9. Select consent, as appropriate, for your child(ren) for publishing student information and images.
10. Click Save.

Step 3: Join SMS PTO

    Now that provided your contact information, continue to purchase SMS PTO Membership:

1. On the Online Sign-Ups and Registrations page, select SMS PTO Dues 2020-2021.
2. On the SMS PTO Dues 2020-2021 page, select SMS PTO Membership, agree to the SMS PTO Membership Terms and consider an optional donation to the PTO.
3. Consider becoming a member of the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills by selecting the appropriate level.
4. Consider making a donation to the Charles T. King fund by selecting the appropriate level.
5. Click Add to Cart.
6. Either click Proceed to Cart or register for other programs.
7. On clicking Proceed to Cart, the Checkout page is displayed. Click Pay Now with Credit or Debit Card.
8. On the Credit Card Page, enter your payment details and click Continue.
9. Click Place Order.

Please Note: You must complete the process of purchasing SMS PTO membership (add to cart and checkout) in order to see and register for SMS PTO sales and programs. If you have students entering Millburn Integrated Preschool, a separate form and membership is required.

Now that you are a SMS PTO Member you will have immediate access to explore all of the information available on our amazing website and be able to receive communication as well as register for all PTO programs, access the directory, check out the calendar, and more!
